The Swedish installation market
The Swedish installation market is expected to grow by 4–5 per cent per year in 2026–2027, driven by renovations, technical upgrades and measures in the existing stock. Several structural trends are strengthening long-term demand: an aging building stock, electrification of society, stricter requirements for energy efficiency, increased emergency investments and continued urbanisation.
The installation market is increasingly influenced by how properties are planned, built and managed over time. Demand is currently driven primarily by renovations, technical upgrades and measures in existing stock, while new construction is expected to gain increasing importance as economic conditions strengthen.
Digitalisation and increased system complexity increase the demands on coordination between electricity, plumbing and ventilation as well as on quality and documentation.
Our business areas
Electricity
Our offering in electricity includes electrical installations in construction projects and contracts, energy efficiency, alarm and access systems, solar cells, vehicle charging and high-voltage systems. Electricity accounts for 34 per cent of Comfortgruppen's turnover.
The electrical installation market is characterised by modernisation, automation and control in commercial properties, industry and public operations. The expansion of charging infrastructure follows the electrification of the vehicle fleet and the need for charging solutions in working life and residential environments.
Ventilation
Our ventilation offering includes air treatment, process ventilation, adjustment, mandatory ventilation control (OVK) and new and renovation of ventilation systems. Ventilation accounts for 19 percent of Comfortgruppen's turnover.
Ventilation is playing an increasingly central role in the overall performance of properties. Focus on indoor climate, energy efficiency and comfort is increasing, and technical solutions that combine high efficiency with smart control are in demand. Long-term efficiency requirements and stricter regulations are driving the need for specialist expertise and long-term service commitments.
Heating and plumbing
Our heating and plumbing offering includes installation of heat pumps and heating solutions, HVAC projects in homes, industrial premises, schools, commercial premises and public environments, in both new construction and renovation. Heating and plumbing account for 47 per cent of Comfortgruppen's turnover.
In heating and plumbing, measures that reduce energy use, increase operational reliability and extend the life of existing installations dominate. Long-term needs in heating, water and water supply infrastructure create a stable basis for demand, while requirements for quality, documentation and overall responsibility are tightening.
