Code of conduct

Comfortratten is our code of conduct. It describes the values and principles that apply to everyone who works within Comfortgruppen, and puts into words how we are expected to act in our interactions with employees, customers, suppliers and society at large.

What is Comfortratten?

Comfortratten is  based on internationally recognised frameworks: the UN Global Compact, the ILO Core Conventions, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

The Code of Conduct covers ten areas that together describe how we conduct our business: Work Environment, Employees, Competence, Efficiency and Quality, Relations, Communication, Data Protection, Anti-Corruption, Competition and Environment and Climate.

Comfortratten is established by the Board of Directors, and the CEO is responsible for the content, and the CEO of each subsidiary is responsible for compliance. The Code of Conduct applies to all employees, regardless of role or company, and to everyone who acts in the name of the Group and its partner companies.

Code of conduct for business partners

We hold our business partners to the same fundamental standards. Our Code of Conduct for Business Partners is based on the same principles as the Comfort Steering Wheel and applies to all suppliers and business partners. It clarifies expectations around human rights, labour rights, health and safety, environmental concerns, good business ethics and responsible handling of minerals.

The Code of Conduct is established by management. The Head of Business Support is responsible for the content, and the suppliers are responsible for compliance.

Training for employees

In 2025, we launched a group-wide training course on Comfortratten for all subsidiaries. All employees must complete the training and then sign the code of conduct as a confirmed commitment. By the end of the year, 89 per cent of employees had completed the training, and all those trained had signed the code of conduct.

Comfortgruppen provides a whistleblower service that enables secure and, if necessary, anonymous reporting of serious misconduct, in accordance with the Whistleblower Act. This may involve violations of the code of conduct, legal violations or abuse of power.

The service can be used by employees, former employees, consultants and others with a work-related connection to the business. Reporting is done via a special form or directly to the Chairman of the Board. Whistleblowers are covered by statutory protection against retaliation.

Matters relating to one's own work situation are handled via regular internal channels, such as the immediate manager or HR.
