Social sustainability

The people in our business are our most important success factor. We work to create an environment where employees can grow, feel good and feel safe. This is the prerequisite for us to be able to attract, retain and develop the skills that make a difference for our customers and our business.

A safe and developing workplace

Comfortgruppen has 1,540 employees in its subsidiaries. Our decentralised model, with local owners and short decision-making channels, gives employees real influence and close contact with their manager and their business.

We strive for secure employment conditions, reasonable working hours and salary setting in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. All employees are covered by collective agreements, which ensures security solutions such as occupational pensions, insurance and compensation in the event of illness and parental leave. Sickness absence amounted to 4.9 per cent in 2025; the target is below 5 per cent.

Safety at work

Health and safety is always our top priority. We work systematically to ensure a safe and healthy working environment, both in our own premises and at customer sites. All employees are covered by our work environment system.

The routines are based on ongoing safety rounds, risk assessments, training and dialogue with safety representatives and union representatives. We have zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs during working hours and set clear requirements for road safety for employees who work with vehicles.

Skills development

The industry needs more qualified professionals. We are taking responsibility by offering apprenticeships, collaborations with upper secondary schools, polytechnics and adult education, and a common training platform for the entire group.

In 2025, we offered 135 apprenticeships, an increase from 95 the previous year. The goal is for the platform to function as a clear career path in the long term, where the employee sets a goal and receives a plan for which training and certifications will lead to it. The platform already contains training and certifications in areas such as GDPR and asbestos, as well as courses that support internal career and skills development.

In 2025, we also launched a group-wide training on our Code of Conduct for all subsidiaries. By the end of the year, 81 per cent of employees had completed the training. 60.3 per cent of employees feel they have the opportunity to develop in their role, compared to the target of 80 per cent. This is an area we will continue to prioritise going forward.

Culture and employee engagement

In 2025, we launched a group-wide training course on our Code of Conduct, the Comfort Wheel. By the end of the year, 81 per cent of employees had completed the training. The goal is for everyone to have done so and to have confirmed their commitment to following Comfortgruppen's values, both internally and in meetings with customers.

Employee engagement is measured continuously through group-wide surveys. eNPS was 17 in 2025, against the target of over 20 by 2028.

We work for an inclusive workplace with equal opportunities for all. The proportion of women in the group is 9.6 per cent. We work actively to increase diversity in an industry that has historically been dominated by men.

Safe and secure water

Safe and secure water is a fundamental prerequisite for functioning societies. Through our plumbing installations and services, we contribute to good water quality and reduce the risk of pollution in properties and community functions.

There is a great national need to upgrade and modernise water and sanitation infrastructure, housing and public utilities. We see this as an opportunity to use our expertise where it will be most useful and contribute with real impact to society.
