Business ethics

Business ethics is not a separate track in our operations. It is part of how we work every day, with customers, suppliers and each other. Comfortgruppen sets clear requirements for responsible behaviour throughout the entire operation, from its own organisation to suppliers and business partners.

Comfortratten - Our code of conduct

Our code of conduct is called "Comfortratten". It describes the values and principles that apply to everyone working within the Comfortgruppen, regardless of role, company or region. It is based on internationally recognised frameworks, including the UN Global Compact, the ILO Core Conventions and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

Comfortratten covers ten areas: work environment, employees, competence, efficiency and quality, relationships, communication, data protection, anti-corruption, competition, and environment and climate.

In 2025, we launched a group-wide training course on the Code of Conduct for all subsidiaries. By the end of the year, 89 per cent of employees had completed the training, and 100 per cent of them had signed the code as a confirmed commitment.

Anti-corruption

We have zero tolerance for corruption, bribery, fraud, extortion and money laundering. This applies to everyone who acts in the name of Comfortgruppen; employees, partner companies, suppliers and other partners.

We always operate in accordance with competition law and work actively to avoid conflicts of interest. Customer and employee personal data is always handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

No cases of corruption or bribery were reported within Comfortgruppen or our partner companies in 2025. This also applies to the previous year.

Supplier relations

Our relationships with suppliers and partners should be long-term, open and mutually value-creating. We set clear requirements through our code of conduct for business partners, which is based on the same principles as Comfortratten and clarifies expectations around human rights, health and safety, environmental considerations and good business ethics.

We conduct supplier assessments of our contract suppliers. By 2025, 95 per cent of contract suppliers had been assessed. The goal is to reach 100 per cent.

We also work to never pay late. A centralised and highly automated invoice management ensures that invoices are handled correctly and on time. In 2025, 97 per cent of invoices were paid in accordance with the agreement or earlier.

Whistleblower service

Comfortgruppen offers a whistleblower service that enables secure and, if necessary, anonymous reporting of serious misconduct. The service is managed by an independent third party and can be used by employees, former employees, consultants and others with a work-related connection to the business.

Matters concerning one's own work situation are handled through regular internal channels. In the event of more serious misconduct, reporting can be made directly to the Chairman of the Board. Whistleblowers are covered by statutory protection against retaliation.
