Sustainability management
Responsibility for sustainability is divided across three levels within Comfortgruppen: board, management and an operational sustainability group. Here we describe how governance is organised and where you can find our governing documents.
Responsibilities of the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for Comfortgruppen's sustainability strategy. This means that the board decides on goals and follow-up, approves and is responsible for the sustainability report, and ensures ethical and responsible business conduct throughout the business.
To strengthen the sustainability expertise of the Board, there is close cooperation with the Group's sustainability function. Board members receive regular training to ensure understanding of the sustainability-related challenges and opportunities facing the Group.
CEO, management and the operational sustainability group
The CEO and management are responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy, including risk management and internal control, as well as monitoring targets and key performance indicators. Management also ensures that the organisation has the right skills to meet sustainability requirements.
To coordinate and drive sustainability efforts across the Group, an operational sustainability group works cross-functionally. The group is responsible for implementation, environmental analysis, dialogue with stakeholders and development of sustainability efforts in line with the company's strategy.
