Nationwide delivery that strengthens SkiStar's operations and development

A successful local project led to a nationwide service assignment within electricity, plumbing and ventilation. Through new establishment, digital tools and consistent quality, Comfortgruppen creates long-term value for SkiStar's Swedish facilities.

SkiStar needed a reliable partner who, with a local presence in several locations, could deliver the same high quality consistently – weekdays as well as high season. Comfortgruppen's assignment began with a limited project. The results were good, and the assignment grew into a nationwide agreement within electricity, plumbing and ventilation. The requirements meant that the delivery needed to maintain the same level at all destinations, which was the starting point for our new establishment in Åre. Today, the delivery includes planned work, service, fault reporting and on-call for the facilities in Sälen, Åre, Vemdalen and Hammarbybacken in Stockholm.

Uniform quality and close delivery

The scope of the assignment means that the service must function equally well regardless of geographical conditions. This places demands on capacity, presence and a working method that provides predictability across the entire chain. To meet this, Comfortgruppen has built a specialist team spanning eleven subsidiaries, which brings together the right skills and creates a broad staffing base in all locations. The proximity enables shorter lead times, easier handling of peaks in workload and stable delivery even during intensive seasons. The local presence also provides better insight into the facilities' needs over time, which creates the conditions for a more proactive working method where solutions can be proposed, operations optimized and improvement ideas developed before problems arise.

Smarter service and clearer follow-up

As the assignment scaled up, the need for a unified reporting chain became clear. In response, Comfortgruppen developed an app-based tool where the customer's employees can easily report errors, technicians report work performed, and SkiStar follows cases in real time. This creates transparency, traceability, and the security that the same procedures apply everywhere. At the same time, everything is logged, which gives the customer a clear history and creates a better basis for planning and proactive service.

By combining local presence, flexible teams and digital tools, Comfortgruppen creates a delivery that is stable in operation and ready to develop as customer needs change. The collaboration with SkiStar also shows how the right synergies can arise – the establishment in Åre to meet customer requirements has also become the start of a larger investment in the region, both as a local employer and through the opening of a showroom in 2026.
